Day 01- Arrive
at Mumbai
Arrival follows assistance and transfer
to hotel, where we will be holding the rooms
on ready occupancy basis. Traditional welcome
follows check in into hotel. Overnight to
be spent at hotel.
Day 02- Mumbai
In the morning, visit the magnificent Gateway
of India (The stone archway designed by
Wittett) and the Elephanta Caves - 9 km
by sea. The Ellora caves contain the 7th
century rock - cut cave temples dedicated
to Lord Shiva. It is situated atop a hill
on the island. Spend the night at hotel,
with wonderful memories of the day.
Day 03- Mumbai/
Goa
You will be transferred to the airport to
catch the flight for Goa. Arrival is followed
by transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 04- Goa
Discover the magic of Goa by visiting different
parts of Goa. In the morning you will visit
North Goa and South Goa in the afternoon.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 05- Goa
As you have the day at leisure, you can
choose to relax at the beautiful, refreshing
and health prone beaches of Goa. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 06- Goa/
Belgaum/ Badami
After the breakfast in Goa, you will be
driven to Badami, visiting Belgaum enroute.
Belgaum presents a total picture of contrasts.
On one side is the old town area and the
other side is the modern area. In the heart
of Belgaum, lies the Fort. Inside it are
most famous Kamala Bastes, the Jain Temple
and the Jama Masjid. You will also visit
the Kapileshwar Temple and the Ananthashayana.

Day 07- Badami
It is said that if you want to believe Badami,
you will have to see it. Badami provides
the perfect setting for art and history
lovers. At Badami you will find the Rock-cut
cave Temples, Gateways, Forts, Inscriptions
and much more. Climb a flight of steps to
reach the ancient caves - all hewn out of
sand stone on the rock face of a hill. The
Bhutanatha temple is also a must see. The
lake beneath the temple is also named after
it. It is said to have healing properties.
In Badami, you can also see eighteen inscriptions,
belonging to the period between the 06th
and 09th centuries. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08- Badami
- Aihole - Pattadakal - Hospet
Get ready to explore a few places with great
past. The places in itinerary are Aihole,
Pattadakal, and Hospet. Set out for Hospet,
visiting Aihole and Pattadakal enroute.
Aihole is famous as the "cradle of
the Indian Architecture". Pattadakal
is situated on the left bank of the Malaprabha
River. Pattadakal is a world heritage centre
and has 10 major temples representing early
Chalukyan architecture. Upon arrival at
Hospet you will be transferred to hotel.

Day 09- Hospet
In the morning, begin the journey of exploring
the beautiful world of Hospet. Hospet is
important for its proximity to Hampi, the
site of the medieval Vijaynagar Empire,
(13 km). Hampi is the most important reminiscent
of all the ruins in Karnataka. Overnight
at hotel.
Day 10- Hospet/
Hassan
Have your breakfast and head towards Hassan.
Set and refresh into hotel. Thereafter you
will be taken on an excursion tour to Belur
and Halebid, a beautiful exponent of Hoyasala
architecture. The most famous of them is
the Chennakeshava Temple. This temple took
103 years to complete. The temples of Halebid
bear silent testimony to the rich, cultural
heritage of Karnataka. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11- Hassan
- Shravanbelagola - Hassan
On the eleventh day of the tour get ready
to see the splendor of Shravanbelagola (51
km south- east of Hassan), one of the most
important Jain Pilgrim centers in India.
At Shravanbelagola, you will see the 17m
high monolith of Lord Gomatesvara. It is
the world's tallest monolithic statue. Rest
of the day you will remain free to explore
the surroundings. Spend your night at hotel.
Day 12- Hassan/
Madikeri
On the twelfth day of the tour, discover
the "Scotland of India". Yes,
Madikeri is called the "Scotland of
India". On arrival locate yourself
in the hotel, refresh and come with us to
visit Madikeri Fort, Abbey Falls, Nisargadhama
- Known for its calm and serene beauty.
This place is an ideal picnic spot for tourists
throughout the year. Spend your night at
hotel.
Day 13- Madikeri/
Mysore
After having breakfast, set out for the
exclusive locales of Mysore. On arrival,
check in into hotel, refresh yourself and
begin the excursion. The places to be covered
are the Mysore Palace and Chamundi hills
(Towering over the city, these hills are
13 km away from Mysore). Halfway up is the
Nandi bull, a 4.8m monolith. The Brindavan
Garden is anther site to be explored- the
musical fountains and colorful lights transform
this place into a fairy land. Spend your
night at hotel.
Day 14- Mysore
In the morning get ready to explore Sri
Jauyachamarajendra Art Gallery - Housed
in the Jag Mohan Palace, the gallery has
a collection of exquisite paintings. A visit
to the Somnathpur village is arranged in
the afternoon. The little village houses
a 13th century temple, well known for its
great architectural beauty. The star shaped
temple with three shrines is the latest
and well preserved heritage of Hoyasala
architecture. Spend your night at hotel.
Day 15- Mysore/
Srirangapatnam/ Bangalore
On the morning of the fifteenth day, you
are free to explore the beautiful surroundings.
In the afternoon, you are driven to Bangalore
via Srirangapatnam, the capital of the warrior
King, Hyder Ali & his son Tipu Sultan.
Srirangapatnam has magnificent monuments
that are a treat to watch. In the evening
drive to Bangalore. Arrival at Bangalore
follows check into hotel, where you spend
the night.
Day 16- Bangalore/
Mumbai
Explore the splendor of the garden city
of India, Bangalore. The excursion includes
the Vidhan Saudha (State's Legislature and
Secretariat), Nandi Temple (One of the oldest
temples, popularly known as the Bull temple)
and many other destinations. In the evening
take your flight to Bombay (Mumbai). Arrival
follows transfer to hotel where we will
be holding the rooms for wash and change.
After the dinner, depart for the international
airport to take the flight back home. |
