Day 01: Delhi
- Srinagar
As soon as you arrive at Srinagar, you will
be transferred to a Deluxe Houseboat by
our representative. In the late afternoon,
enjoy a fascinating Shikara ride on the
beautiful Dal Lake visiting the splendid
floating and vegetable gardens etc. You
can also enjoy observing the walnut woodcarving
and the unique papier machie making demonstration.
Have dinner and spend the night in the Deluxe
Houseboat
Day 02: In
Srinagar
In the morning get ready for an excursion
to the Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh
and Shalimar Bagh. Nishat Bagh or the Abode
of pleasure was built by Asif Khan, the
brother in law of Jehangir, in 1632 AD.
Shalimar Bagh or the Abode of love was built
by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan.
All these gardens are situated on the bank
of Dal Lake with the rocking Zabarwan Mountains
in the background. The distance from Srinagar
to these gardens is about 12 and 15 kms
respectively. Enroute visit the carpet-weaving
factory. Enjoy the dinner and stay overnight
in the Deluxe Houseboat.
Day 03: In
Srinagar
Enjoy the whole day by shopping and other
individual activities. Have dinner in the
Deluxe Houseboat and spend the night there.
Day 04: Srinagar
- Delhi
After having breakfast, you will be transferred
to the airport to catch a flight to Delhi. |
